Terms & Conditions


In these conditions unless the context requires otherwise the singular shall include the plural and the masculine gender the feminine and neuter genders and vice versa and the following words shall have the meanings set out opposite them:

(a) “the company” or “us” shall mean Creative Tiles and Laminates Ltd;
(b) “the customer” or “you” shall mean any person, firm, company or organization to whom the Company agrees to sell “the Goods”;
(c) “the goods” shall mean the goods (and any parts thereof) the subject matter of the contract as described in these conditions and (if appropriate) on the face of the Company’s acknowledgement of order form;
(d) “the Manufacturer” shall mean the manufacturer of the Goods where the Goods are not manufactured by the Company.

The company’s conditions over-ride any Conditions of Sale/Purchase of the customer. The customer’s conditions are only effective in so far as they do not conflict with the company’s conditions.

Accuracy of Information

Creative Tiles and Laminates endeavour to ensure the information on this website is correct, however, any details provided by us is intended for information only. We do not warrant its completeness or accuracy relating to the accuracy, fitness for purpose, compatibility or security of any components of the website.

Technical and other advice is given in good faith and for general guidance only. We are not liable for errors, or defects by, the manufacturer or other circumstances beyond our control.


Before placing your order, you may order as many samples as you require, delivery is free of charge. This will give you a better idea of shade variation and blend. Samples are supplied to enable you to judge the quality of the goods, but do not constitute a sale by sample.


The goods are supplied within the manufacturers tolerance limits of size, texture and colour variations. It is recommended that tiles from all boxes be mixed to give a reasonable blend. All natural stone are supplied subject to natural colour variation.

Some variation in size, shape, shade and pattern is inherent in the manufacture of tiles. You are responsible for ordering sufficient quantities, as the company cannot guarantee against variations or match shades of tiles supplied either in previous orders or as samples. Please note orders are supplied to the nearest full tile above the requested meterage.

No guarantee can be given against crazing.



The price payable for the goods will be shown on our website and you will be charged at the price ruling at the date the order is placed. Prices on our website are shown both exclusive and inclusive of VAT. Prices are subject to alteration without notice.

Packaging and postage or carriage will be charged in addition to the price of the goods.

Any quotations are given in good faith on the basis of the current costs and open for acceptance for a minimum period of 30 days. The price is subject to amendment in the event of alteration of the manufacturers price, or changes in currency rates.


Payment is made at the point of ordering the goods. We accept most major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard and Maestro. You must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number, as stored by your card issuer. Online payments are taken via our secure server, encrypted at point of entry and processed through SagePay. No member of our staff handles your card details.

Your order will only be processed once a payment is made and authorisation of your credit card has been properly received. Incorrect information may cause a delay. We reserve the right to refuse any debit or credit card transaction.

Availability of Goods

All goods are subject to availability and will normally be delivered within 3-5 working days. The date of delivery is approximate and made by us in good faith.

A delay in the delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. If goods are temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of this position and you should allow up to 21 days for dispatch of the goods. You shall have no right to claim damages or cancel the order for any delay in delivery not exceeding 21 days beyond the initial period.

We shall not be liable for for any financial demands from you for late or incorrect delivery, howsoever caused, or for any other losses you may suffer, and always recommend that you never book a tiler until you have the tiles delivered.

Acceptance of Conditions

Acceptance of the goods or payment for the goods by you to us shall constitute an acceptance of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions cannot be varied unless agreed in writing by us.


Delivery to mainland UK is usually within 3-5 working days from date of purchase, whereas Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands and the Isle of Man may take longer, typically 5-7 working days. Normally delivery will be Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am to 5pm.

Delivery costs are dependent on postcode and will be advised when you place your order. Alternatively, you can arrange to collect your order from our store at no delivery charge.

Timed, AM/PM and Saturday deliveries are optional and will incur additional charges. Prices for Saturday deliveries can be obtained upon application.

Delivery of the goods shall be made to the delivery address specified. We must have a full delivery address including postcode and a daytime contact number. You must state at the time of ordering if you have limited access to your property, or specific delivery instructions.

Orders are delivered by various carriers, although many will arrive on a pallet and delivered to your address on a tail lift vehicle to the nearest point of hard standing. It is your responsibility to take the goods into your property. Risk in respect of the goods passes to you from the moment of delivery. All deliveries must be signed for.

If you are not at home, fail to take delivery or fail to give us adequate instructions for delivery, the driver will not leave the goods. If a second delivery attempt needs to be made, a redelivery charge will be incurred.

Time is not of the essence of the contract. Quotations as to delivery time are given in good faith, but delivery is subject to availability of the goods and raw materials and supply from the manufacturer. Every effort will be made to effect delivery within a quoted period.

Any dates quoted for delivery of the goods are approximate only and the company shall not be liable for any delay or costs incurred due to delay in delivery however caused.

The company shall not be required to fulfil orders in the sequence in which they are placed. Each delivery is a separate contract. Failure to deliver any part of an order does not invalidate the contracts for the balance.

Force Majeure

In the event that the manufacture or delivery of any of the goods is prevented or hindered directly or indirectly by fire, the elements, war, civil commotion, strikes or lock-outs, industrial dispute, shortage of fuel notwithstanding that we have taken all reasonable steps to procure the same, shortage of labour, break down or partial failure of vehicles, plant or machinery, acts, orders or regulations of government, delay on the part of any independent sub-contractor or supplier, or any other cause whatsoever beyond our reasonable control then the time for delivery of the goods shall be extended for a reasonable period having regard to the effect of the delaying cause on the manufacture or delivery.

Returns And Refunds

Returns will be accepted where goods are returned complete in full boxes, unopened and unused in their original condition with proof of purchase within 30 days of shipment (this applies to stock items only). Returns matching this criteria will be eligible for a refund at our discretion. A 25% restocking fee will be charged and you are responsible for the shipping costs of returning the goods.

Returns will not be accepted on products which are broken, incomplete or damaged upon return. It is your responsibility to check all items are present, correct and undamaged at the time of delivery. Failure to do so is at your own risk.

All special order items are non-refundable.

Shortage, Damage and Non-Delivery

We must be notified in writing using our contact facility within 48 hours of delivery of any claim by you of any shortage, damage to goods in transit or non-delivery giving details of the exact amount missing or extent of the damage.

After two days from delivery you will be deemed to have accepted the goods as having been supplied in good condition, and in accordance with you order.

We may collect all damaged or faulty goods and if they are found to be damaged or faulty we will make an appropriate refund to you or arrange replacements at our expense, but we shall have no further liability to you. Liability for the defective condition of any goods supplied will not exceed the contract value of the goods in respect of which the complaint is made.

The company reserves the right not to replace damage tiles if the total amount is less than 5% of the total order.

No claim may be made in respect of defective condition of the goods once they have been fixed or attempted fixing to the wall or floor.

We can only be held responsible for any failure on products supplied by us, to the extent that the manufacturer of such products is prepared to guarantee the same.


You will be responsible for transport and collection charges once goods have left our premises where a cancellation occurs.

If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days from date of delivery for full credit or refund less any applicable delivery charges. It is your responsibility to return such items in an unused state, pristine saleable condition in their original box and packaging. You will be wholly responsible for the return of the goods and any associated costs of return. We will only process refunds for goods received back complete and in a saleable condition. Your cancellation request must be put into writing and received within the 14 day period. We will return your money within 30 days of your notice of cancellation. Any special order items that have been arranged at your request are not returnable and therefore not refundable.

If you do not return goods within 14 days after you have informed us that you wish to cancel your order, your right to cancel will be revoked.

Limitations of Liability

We will not be liable for any loss of profit, contracts, business, goodwill, data, income, revenue or anticipated savings arising under terms and conditions or in connection with our website, whether direct or indirect, and whether arising in tort, contract, or otherwise.

Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, we shall not be liable to you by reason of any representation, or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the contract, for any consequential compensation whatsoever (and whether caused by the negligence of us, our employees or agents or otherwise) which arise out of or in conjunction with the supply of the goods or their use or resale by you except as expressly provided in these conditions.


All intellectual property of Creative Tiles and Laminates such as trademarks, trade names, patents, registered designs and any other automatic intellectual property rights derived from the aesthetics or functionality of the website remain our property.

By using the website you agree to respect these rights and will refrain from copying, downloading, transmitting, reproducing, printing, or exploiting for commercial purpose any material contained within the website unless given express written permission to do so by Creative Tiles and Laminates.

These terms and conditions and each contract for sale are governed by English Law. The English Courts are the property venue for any actions arising from the contract.
